Paper Submission

 

Short Version

A short anonymous version of the paper, including conclusions and literature, must be submitted by email to ae2009@eis.uva.es no later than February 23th, 2009 in acrobat (pdf) format.  Short versions of the paper must be 5 pages long. Please upload an anonymous version without any author information to guarantee a double-blind review. Authors should respect Springer typesetting guidelines (see below):

Final Paper

Final paper must be 12 pages long. Authors should respect Springer typesetting guidelines (see below).

 

Final paper has to be sent by email to ae2009@eis.uva.es no later than May 16th, 2009 in an archive file (zip or tar.gz format) including: a camera ready version of the paper in an Adobe Acrobat® (pdf) format file.

Any source files used to produced the camera ready file.

 

Papers received after the deadline or not respecting any of the formatting or submitting rules will not be published.

 

 

Typesetting using LaTeX

Detailed instructions for authors as well as all class files and style files required to produce the article in LaTeX are inluded in this zip-folder. Springer offers a LaTeX 2e document class file (svmult.cls) which greatly facilitate the work of authors. The authors instructions are available along with the complete documentation of this class. Please note also the example files to be found in the folder "templates".

 

 

Newcomers to LaTeX

First, you have to install LateX on your computer. You can get a free version in www.latex-project.org/ftp.html.

 

Second, you need an editor. For example, WinEdt (shareware). You can download from http://www.winedt.com without payment on a trial version for 30 days.

 

Third, create a your working directory and extract the files of this zip-folder to it.

 

Fourth, open WinEdt and open author.tex file which is in working directory/templates/.

 

Note: If author.tex file does not work: move both svmult.cls file, which is in style directory, and the files of template directory to your working directory.

 

 

Typesetting using MicroSoft Word

Springer offers a template file called svcrproc10-e.dot. Authors using Micro$oft Word must use it. Instructions on how to install use this template are available through the instructions.pdf file. All these files are available in the ae-word.tar.gz or the ae-word.zip archive file.
